How to Manage Time Effectively

Before you can even begin to manage time, you must learn what time is. A dictionary defines time as "the point or period at which things occur.

 What is “Time Management?”

“Time management” refers to the way that you organize and plan how long you spend on specific activities.

To play with your time is to pay with your life make quality use of your time.

There are two types of time: clock time and real time. In clock time, there are 60 seconds in a minute, 60 minutes in an hour, 24 hours in a day and 365 days in a year. All time passes equally. When someone turns 50, they are exactly 50 years old, no more or no less.

The good news is that real time is mental. It exists between your ears. You create it. Anything you create, you can manage

Men of success are never time waster, they have a very high sense of urgency, they are quick to make up their minds, and they do not procrastinate. They are neither time wasters nor associates of the same.

 They do their best to live within a well define budgeted time. They maintain their vision and conviction with an eagle focus, not easily distracted.

It is fascinating that when you study the most effective individuals; I mean men of greet impact, throughout history you see the same theme coming  back Again and again in how each of them manage their time.

The key was focus and concentration on a few very significant priorities, always keeping in mind what is centrally important at the moment. They were men who kill every waste that try to waste their time, because they came to a point where they knew that their life was at the mercies of their time.

It seems that there is never enough time in the day. But, since we all get the same 24 hours, why is it that some people achieve so much more with their time than others? The answer lies in good time management.

We see this especially in Winsten Churchill, despite his wide ranging attention and interest he always kept in mind what was centrally important to the moment. His general method of work was to concentrate is personal attention on the two or three things that matter most at any giving moment and to give to each of them all the time and attention that is merited.

 Make Quality Use of Your Time

Don’t say it is too late or too early to become what you were created to become.  If you understand the time management, you will end a commander in your generation.  To bring out the best in your, you must understand the secret of time management.

Time waits for no man but bows to those that understands it.  Most people get ahead during the time others waste. Thomas Edison says study while others are sleeping, prepare while others are loafing, stand while other are sitting, run while others are walking.

Block out other distractions like Facebook and other forms of social media unless you use these tools to generate business

The secret of an outstanding future is doing what others are avoiding, try what people avoid and see yourself living beyond your means.  Stop wasting away, and start getting ahead.  Your destiny is not a chance; it is a choice to manage your timing.

Practice not answering the phone just because it's ringing and e-mails just because they show up. Disconnect instant messaging. Don't instantly give people your attention unless it's absolutely crucial in your business to offer an immediate human response. Instead, schedule a time to answer email and return phone calls

Note that your response to time determines your response to life. You stand to postpone your life and destiny when you postpone your time, if you wait for a perfect condition you will never get anything done.

How you utilize your time determine the success or failure you will experience. Know the true value of time management, snatch, seize and enjoy every moment of it, not idleness, not laziness, not procrastination.
